Welcome to the website of Neighbourhood Work Centres Ltd. We are the only telecentre in Berkshire. Established in 1994 the company opened its original premises in February 1995. We moved to our present location in Bracknell Town Centre, in November 1999. We are a fully commercial operation offering training, support and facilities to businesses and teleworkers.

A series of practical workshops designed especially for owner/managers and employees of micro businesses.
You will work on a live issue from your work, not just theoretical examples, so learning can be applied directly in your business.
There is at least one workshop for every business function you can think of, including business planning, raising finance, employing staff, marketing, selling, bookkeeping, finding premises and relevant ICT skills taught with the focus on using the computer as a business tool.
NEIGHBOURHOOD WORK CENTRE - BUSINESS PREMISES AND FACILITIES
Our Neighbourhood Work Centre offers a walk-in service for; internet access and computer use; printing and copying; faxing; binding; laminating and short print runs of business cards, leaflets and posters etc.
We also provide business premises and facilities to support you if you run a business or work from home and need a conference or training room to meet your customers and staff or deliver your training and services.
BUSINESS SERVICES, BUSINESS START-UP & BUSINESS SUPPORT
We offer a range of services to businesses; from business planning, diagnostics, training and mentoring; to secretarial services such as typing, telephone answering and accommodation address.
Our training and support programmes help clients start up and grow their business and as an accredited Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) Centre of Excellence for Enterprise Development, our provision is accredited by the UK Sector Skills Body for Enterprise (www.sfedi.co.uk).
Our funded Welfare to Work programmes enable unemployed people to access our services free of charge. We have helped hundreds of clients start their own business or find employment, using our in-depth knowledge of the benefits and tax systems to advise clients how to maximise their income while moving into work.

SCHOOL BUSINESS MENTOR STANDARD
It is important those who provide input to the education of children in England are properly assessed and qualified. We have created a formal standard for School Business Mentors for which the resulting certification is either a Full Qualification or a Unit Accreditation under the Qualification and Curriculum Framework.
