Service Objectives

Your documentation will reflect your house style and be produced to a consistently high standard.  The services are available on an ad hoc or contracted basis and will be tailored specifically to your needs.

What to Expect

You can choose the combination of services best suited to your requirements as they arise.  The services offered are:

Proof Reading

Your text will be proof read not only to check for typing and spelling mistakes but also to ensure correct use of grammar and punctuation.  Where appropriate, recommendations will be made for cosmetic changes which it is felt will improve the sense and readability of the document.

Documentation Critique

This service takes basic proof reading to a higher level to examine your documents as a whole.  this will consist of a critique of the document structure and contents to give you our view of its effectiveness in addressing the intended audience and conveying the required messages.  A report detailing this and including recommendations for improvements will be provided.  This report, usually verbal, will be accompanied by a marked up copy of your document.

Documentation Creation

For those with not enough time or resources to put together a document, such as a report or proposal to a client, we can take your data and information and produce a document to your specified structure and to serve its intended purpose.

Word Processing / Desk Top Publishing

We also offer general word processing and desk top publishing (DTP) services.  These include typing text and inclusion of illustrations strictly to your specification.

Cost

Ad hoc services are charged at an hourly rate, from £8.00 to a maximum £25 depending on the level of expertise required.

Contracts will be costed according to an assessment of time and expertise required.  The price will be agreed before commencement of any work.

Support Club members will be entitled to a 10% discount from all charges.
