Planning a New Business

All good decisions are based on well thought out and planned activity.  Starting your own business is no exception.  This 3 day course is aimed to direct the potential business person to look at their own suitability, how to gather the information required to test the viability of the ideas and teach the basic skills required to manage the business.  At the end of the course they will be in a position to identify there points of reference to collect test and formulate the information into a business plan incorporating all its elements.

In 3 days you will acquire the knowledge and skills to:

    Understand the different forms of businesses and taxes.

    Obtain all the relevant information to base your decisions on.

    How to make your choices to your position in the market place.

    Calculate meaningful projections of your price, sales, costs and time so that the targets are achievable and will make your business successful.

    Monitor your use of time and check you income and costs to ensure that your business is on track to your original plans.

    Deal with staff matters.

    How the law effects you and how to protect yourself and your business.

    Produce a business plan and deal with raising finance.

This course has been produced to show you and teach you how to run and plan a small business.  It does not matter where you are on the road from the vision to opening the business, you will benefit from the training.  The course will also benefit anyone in their first year of trading.  People working from home and struggling to make ends meet might also find the course useful to get on to the right track.

       -      what the administration entails

       -      basic employment laws.

Financial control

       -      terms of trade

       -      budgets and forecasts

       -      management accounts and how to use them

       -      getting paid.

Financial Backing

       -      capital requirements

       -      types of capital

       -      types of borrowing

       -      finance charges and interest

       -      how to approach a financial institution.

Using the information above produce a business plan.

Consider the laws and other requirements that effect your business.

Reducing the risk where ever you can and put yourself in the front of the money queue.
