Many
businesses flounder because they have not been selling the products
or services at a price that will make a profit. There are two elements
that you must oversee to ensure that your business does not suffer
in this way. One is management accounts to monitor income and expenditure
the other is dealt with in this one day course, getting your price
right.
The
emphasis of this day is calculating the price of your goods, services
and/or time. It does not deal with how to sell but you will be
able to set yourself targets for sales activities.

this one day course participants will acquire the knowledge and
skills to:
Understand the need to undertake market research.
Identify the elements of branding.
Understanding competition and the market place.
Use accounting tools to calculate your price and your targets.
Understand the effects of VAT on your accounts.

Anyone
starting up their own small businesses and those currently involved
in small businesses whose role it is to calculate the price the
business charges for its goods or services. It will also help those
whose businesses are not living up, in earning terms, to the aspirations
of the owners.
What to Expect
This
course has been produced assuming that candidates have no previous
knowledge of accountancy. It introduces market research as a tool
and marketing as a concept. Sessions are inter-active supported
by discussions, case studies and exercises. Support material containing
support notes and formulas for future use is provided.
