- Computer filing systems; creating folders and finding your way round them.
- Creating, opening, naming, saving and closing files - and finding your work later!
What to Expect
We will help you understand what the computer screen is telling you, how things are laid out and how to use them.
If you have ever done some work on a computer then not been able to find it later, we will explain how computers file things and how to tell them where you want things to be put.
Preparation
We will contact you before the workshop to find out whether you have used a computer and what you already know about Windows or other operating systems.
Who Will Benefit?
Anyone who has never used a computer and/or is nervous about doing so.
Anyone who has used a computer but would like to confirm their understanding or fill in gaps in their knowledge.
