We will help you understand what 'databases' are in computing terms, and the different forms they can take, to help you identify what would be best for you/your business.
We will look at what it takes to set up a database to help you decide whether to do it for yourself or pay someone else.
Preparation
We will contact you before the workshop to find out your current knowledge and experience of computer databases.
It may be helpful to bring examples with you se we can base the session around them if appropriate.

Anyone who needs to access and/or interrogate large amounts of data on a regular basis and needs to do this quickly and efficiently.
Anyone thinking of setting up their own database but is unsure how to tackle it.
