A business should always have an up‑to‑date business plan but usually produces one only when starting a new business or seeking finance for growth or development. Having followed the books and courses to produce your plan, you need some feedback on its content and effectiveness.
Workshop Content
- Structure and substance of the plan.
- The points it covers and those which are missed.
- Questions raised.
- The plan's effectiveness for its intended purpose.
- Suggested improvements.
What to Expect
After a brief explanation of the theory and description of the contents of a business plan, the tutor will review your own plan with you.
Preparation
We will contact you before the workshop to discuss the work you have already done on your business plan. We may ask you to send us your plan before the workshop so we can review it in advance and make the best use of your time on the day.

Owners of small businesses, sole traders and self‑employed people who need a business plan to start a new business, raise finance for an existing business or any other purpose.
Pre-Requisites
There are no specific training pre‑requisites for this workshop but it will be helpful if you are familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
